Strategic Advisory Board

Strategic Advisory Board meets quarterly and has a director or head of service from each of the 10 partners.  Its role is to set the strategic direction for the partnership, ensuring that the work programme reflects strategic priorities, delivers identifiable efficiency gains and promotes joint working.

The board makes recommendations for consideration by joint committee. In turn, joint committee’s decisions are carried out by a core team of professional officers paid for by all partners.

The board is chaired by a Strategic Director who represents Staffordshire County Council as lead authority.
