New work plan for Staffordshire Connects

THE partnership has agreed a four-pronged work plan to direct its efforts for at least the next 12 months. The plan comprises four high-level work areas.

The plan comprises the following high-level areas of work:

  • Shared services and systems
  • Partnership projects
  • Customer First & Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
  • Building on innovation.

Objectives under shared services and systems are to exchange good practice on shared services (Lead: Cannock Chase), and to develop shared services and systems where appropriate (Lead: Cannock Chase). Listed under partnership projects are the sharing of knowledge of the customer (Lead: County Council, Stoke-on-Trent and Tamworth), and the joining up of services in adult social care and health (Lead: East Staffordshire and County Council), and street scene (Lead: Stafford Borough and County Council). The sharing of customer knowledge has the following categories: customer profiling, customer engagement, partnership sharing, customer feedback, customer records, GIS, equalities and digital inclusion.

Customer First and CRM consists of best practice on customer services (Lead: Staffordshire Moorlands), and CRM development vision (Lead: Staffordshire Moorlands). Building on innovation is made up of business matters (Lead: Lichfield), life events (Lead: South Staffordshire and County Council), better regulation (Lead: Lichfield and County Council), and environmental services mobile working (Lead: Stoke-on-Trent).
